White River Trout Club

This place is Flippin awesome. It’s probably the nicest fish camp I’ve ever been in. The entire Complex has been either updated or is brand new. Modern design in the game room, a separate bar and dining area, tons of outdoor seating areas, including I believe three fire pits with Adirondack chairs. And there’s a pool! There’s a boat launch and a dock on site. The fishing is absolutely amazing and our guide David was remarkable, knowledgeable, friendly, extremely patient, and an exceptional teacher. WTRC has kayaks for rent as well. You must stop in their gear shop for hand tied flies, good quality shirts and accessories, and mementos. All the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a real family feel about this place. You can tell everyone loves what they do and they want to share their joy with you. The river is beautiful and filled with trout. It was one of the best fishing experiences I’ve had. WiFi and TVs in the rooms, but if you’re there to watch TV you’re missing out. They will also provide you with a charcoal grill upon request.

Just stayed there this week for two nights. Beautiful well maintained place. Very affordable. The rooms were clean with a well stocked kitchen. They even provided a charcoal grill with grilling utensils at no additional charge. The grill was incredibly clean. The pavilion was awesome and would be a fun place to bring the whole family. There were numerous solo stove firepits around the grounds that would be nice in the evening. The lady in the office was incredibly nice, accommodating and a pleasure to talk to. I stayed with my dad for a fishing trip. But no matter the occasion, I believe this would be a great place to stay.

The cabin was clean, rooms were very spacious and updated. We enjoyed the use of the pavilion/game room. Highly recommend We will be back.

Perfect Getaway on the White River – Clean Cabins, Great Fishing & Amazing Staff! My partner and I spent an unforgettable weekend at the White River Trout Club. While he had stayed several times before, this was my first visit—and it blew me away. The location is right on the river, making fishing super convenient and scenic. The cabins are clean, cozy, and fully renovated, equipped with everything you need to relax and feel at home. The entire property is now under new management, and it really shows—from the stylish upgrades to the thoughtful details in every cabin. What really made the trip outstanding was William, who works there. We accidentally locked ourselves out at 12:30 a.m., and he showed up immediately, smiling and helpful. When we ran out of gas on the river, William rescued us with fuel and even towed us in. He brought us a grill and charcoal when we decided to cook out—just always polite, upbeat, and ready to help. He’s truly an asset to this place. Between the fishing, the peaceful surroundings, and the exceptional hospitality, I couldn’t have asked for a better first-time experience on the White River. We’re already planning our next visit!

I had a great time here. I stayed for 2 nights in a studio cabin and went on a 6hr guided fly fishing trip. Everything is updated, clean and well maintained. The clubhouse/pavilion area is a great place to relax and hang out with friends. They have a pool, fly shop, dock and also a bar that is open in the afternoons. My guide picked me up right from the dock on the property and went right to fishing! After seeing the other fishing lodge properties from the river while fishing, I would definitely stay here again over any of the others. I highly recommend this place if you are considering a fishing trip on the White River!

The WRTC is a perfect spot for an unreal fishery. My family and I have been fishing with Dave since ~2018/2019, and have fished with him all over. For the last 4 years we’ve visited the WRTC a number of times and have always had an incredible time. From incredible views of birds, watching deer on the riverbank, muskrat swimming down the White, and hooking into some of the U.S.’s premier Browns; it’s the best time. Dave and Steve-O run an incredible club, and will be going back forever. From hopper-dropper, sniping dries, and nymphing for quantity, it always promises to be a great time. Hungry fish and even better times at the White River Trout Club! Perfect retreat!

I recently stayed at the White River Trout Club, and I can't recommend it enough! The rooms are incredibly cute and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat. The patio area is a fantastic spot to unwind and soak in the stunning views of the river. One of the highlights of my stay was the game room, which offers plenty of entertainment options for guests of all ages🎲. The gift shop is a delightful surprise, offering a range of unique items that make for perfect souvenirs. And let's not forget the guides—they're truly top-notch! Their expertise and passion for fishing made my experience unforgettable🎣 Overall, the White River Trout Club is a gem that combines comfort, relaxation, and adventure.
